Plans?!? Who Needs Plans?!

Hello! In a desperate attempt to gain some semblance of organization over my life, I'm going to and keep you all updated on what's going on! That is, I would if I felt like I was in control of my own life. The old saying "sometimes life just passes you by" certainly is ringing true for me lately, although instead of passing me by I'm picked up in the whirlwind without a clue where I'll be next. I think that's how I ended up here: Rexburg, Idaho. Sometimes I'll be walking down the street and think to myself now how in the world did I get HERE, of all places? This was never in the plan! Well, I've decided that it doesn't really matter how much you plan out your life, other forces are going to take over for you anyway. Not that that keeps me from planning. Here's what the plan looks like right now (for now): I've got 3 more semesters here at BYU-Idaho, so I'll graduate in December of 2010. This next January I'll be doing an internship for my major (English: Professional Writing) in some major city. I've done enough research on that to determine that I have absolutely no idea where I want to go! I think I've narrowed it down to London, NYC, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Connectitcut. At least I've found possible internships in those cities. Perhaps I'll just apply for them all and see who really wants me and my editing skillz.
Other than changing life plans daily, things are going well. I'm happy here and certainly having fun. Sometimes too much. I'm taking a few road trips this summer with Charlie, my spiffy silver Chevy Malibu, so I'll keep you updated on that. I suppose I'll also keep a photoblog on here as well. Have a fabulous day!
